FAQ — Common Questions
Scalable Vector Icons for Modern Interfaces. Everything you need to know about licensing, formats, and getting help.
How IconFlow Licensing Works
Our licensing model is straightforward. One purchase, unlimited projects — whether you're building a personal portfolio or an enterprise SaaS platform.
Can I use IconFlow icons in client projects?
Yes. Every IconFlow license covers unlimited client work. When you purchase the Business License ($49/year), you retain the right to use all current and future icons across any number of client engagements — no per-project fees, no attribution required.
What's the difference between Personal and Business licenses?
The Personal License ($19/year) covers solo developers and freelancers working on non-commercial or personal projects. The Business License ($49/year) adds commercial usage rights, team sharing (up to 5 seats), and priority support. The Enterprise License is custom-priced for organizations needing SSO, dedicated SLAs, and custom icon commissions.
Can I redistribute or resell IconFlow icons?
No. You may not redistribute, resell, or repackage IconFlow icons as standalone assets or as part of a competing icon library. Icons must be embedded within your own application, website, or design system. If you're building a component library that ships icons to end users, that's permitted — but the icons cannot be extracted and used independently by those end users.
Do I need to attribute IconFlow in my project?
Attribution is not required under any IconFlow license. However, we appreciate a link back to iconflow.design in your credits or about page — it helps us grow and fund new icon sets. If you'd like to include attribution, the recommended format is: "Icons by IconFlow."
Note: All licenses are annual subscriptions. If your subscription lapses, you retain the right to use icons in existing projects but lose access to new releases and updates. Reactivate anytime to restore full access.
Supported Formats & Technical Specs
Every icon ships in SVG, PNG, and PDF. Choose the format that fits your workflow — from design tools to production code.
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
Our primary format. Clean, hand-optimized paths with consistent 2px stroke weight. Each SVG is under 2KB, uses CSS-friendly class names, and supports inline color customization via the currentColor token. Ideal for React, Vue, and web production.
PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
Raster exports at 1x, 2x, and 3x resolutions (24px, 48px, 72px base). Transparent backgrounds, sRGB color space. Perfect for native mobile apps (iOS/Android), Figma mockups, and environments where vector rendering isn't available. Total pack size is approximately 18MB.
PDF (Portable Document Format)
Print-ready vector files organized on individual pages with a master sprite sheet included. Each icon is placed on a 24×24mm grid with 4mm bleed. Suitable for printed UI kits, style guides, and specification documents. Compatible with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Affinity Publisher.
Pro tip: Use our iconflow-cli tool to auto-import SVGs into your project. Run npx iconflow add @iconflow/core and get tree-shakeable imports for Vite, Webpack, and Next.js out of the box.
